This is a pertinent question that is becoming often more prevalent lately.
People assume that if one does not accept homosexual relationships then they have to be hated. This is not true and God never wants us to hate anything except 'sin' itself.

I believe the above quotes are compelling as well as other Biblical events God 'baulks' at, such as those of Sodom and Gibeah. The behaviour alluded to in these events is normally always considered perverse.

God set up through creation an ample partnership that was made one for another.
Song of Solomon is a beautiful book comprising the love of a man and a women representing Christ and the Church.

Paul also refers in Corinthians to the authority set up between a man and a woman and Christ and the Church.

If it is not too confronting we can also speak of the logistics behind God's ideas of conception ie plumbing.
God has made us 'fearfully and wonderfully' and wanted and wants us to go forth and multiply. A homosexual relationship makes this very difficult.

Lastly I think we need to think most importantly of idolatry.
One might think what does this have to do with homosexuality? Well quite plainly if anything sexual or otherwise is taking precedent over our life rather than the service in the Lord, we need to take stock.

We need to ask ourselves, is this life and lifestyle I lead conducive to the service of the Lord? If not what needs to change?
